Eisfabrik
Automatisierung In Der Eisfabrik
Sold-out concert halls and the entry of the last long player "Kryothermalmusik aus der Eisfabrik" into the official German album charts clearly prove the rapid rise of the four Ice-musicians. Now coming up with their eighth release in physical form within five years, Eisfabrik once again reveals their broad spectrum of sound aesthetics. Ten tracks including five previously unreleased songs and various remixes impressively demonstrate how productive this band is. With a total playing time of almost forty minutes, "Automatisierung in der Eisfabrik" almost feels like a new album only seven months after the last album. The "No Crop Without Seeds"-mix of "Grim Reaper" is the opener for this release with a proper club character and leaves no doubt where the journey will take us. It's hard to believe that the second track "We Don't Care" in the acoustic guitar mix is from the same band, but at the same time it suggests to every doubter the versatility of the protagonists Thomas and Barth-Ricklefs. The other eight tracks also behave in this sense, so that this EP should be something not only for Eisfabrik fans but also for every lover of melancholic harmonies.
