"When I was first told about Duds, it came with the considered opinion that the guys were far from what youd call careerists. They dont take themselves too seriously was another comment. I could have taken this as a warning that they werent in it for the right reasons-but that couldnt be further from the truth. From my perspective Duds simply wont bend over backwards to get on. They do what they do and you can take it or leave it. I took it-with both hands.with a vice-like grip. They have the invention and urgency of Edinburgh legends The Fire Engines. The Post-Punk ethic.
