DETONATIONS is a three piece rock-n-roll time bomb from downtown New Orleans with one of the most explosive freaked-out sounds we've heard in years. John Henry plays a souped up Fender Tele with bass strings hooked into a bi-amp system, splitting the bass and guitar tones, while Julien uses re-wired microphonic guitars thru Fuzz. These elements, combined with Keith's caveman drumming and some odd tunings, create an infectious and furious beat up sound.
