Deadbolt's music combines surf rock, gothic, swamp, psychobilly and blues sound with unusual and offbeat lyrics, a style the band dubbed "voodoobilly." Sometimes it sounds like JOY DIVISION doing DICK DALE songs or THE CRAMPS and CALEXICO writing a soundtrack for some cannibal movie. Very deep in the reverb of Fender-Amps and the swamp of Hershell Gordon Lewis, Russ Meyer and Luigi Fulci. Recorded live at the Wild At heart club in Berlin on Nov. 21st, 2009!
