Based on the precepts of instrumental arrangement, variations and improvisation (so applicable to baroque music) and using some of the most popular melodies of the 17th and 18th centuries as a base, builds an affective journey through dances and songs of ancient Spain, immersing the audience in a baroque party where the intricate rhythms of the jacaras, the fandangos, the canarios or the follias alternate with the soft and noble harmonies of the espanoletas or the pasacalles. From a light-hearted point of view, the CD addresses the points in common between baroque music and jazz in this unique jam session devoted to some of the most representative dances of our country for centuries, which were used by composers from all over the continent
