Taking their name from an obscure, bizarre, and trashy '70s horror flick late one night after drinking heavily, The Candy Snatchers formed in 1992 in Virginia Beach. They are a mix of '60s garage, the Detroit sound and late '70s punk with the energy and intensity of any hardcore band. Renowned for their extreme, incendiary live performances, The Candy Snatchers also lay claim to an extensive catalog of raw, unforgettable songs. Their latest album is a return to Get Hip Recordings who previously released their 'Ugly on the Inside' 7". One of over 25 singles that the band has released. Founding member and main songwriter Larry May is joined by long time members, Sergio Ponce, Doug Duncan and fellow ringleader, Hans Molnar.
