Bourvil

Anthologie 1955-1962 - Salade De Fruits C'etait Bien

Bourvil's kindness and humour made him one of the most endearing characters in France's national heritage. After a first anthology ("Bourvil - 1946-1953", FA5131), this second set produced by Jean-Baptiste Mersiol focuses on the artist's later musical career, which in 1955 reached a turning-point: Bourvil had done almost everything he could with "humour" and now added material that was "more serious". This 3CD set brings together all his hits, among them the indispensable "Salade de fruits" and a tender "C'Etait bien (Le Petit Bal perdu)", but also a hilarious version of "Le clair de lune à Maubeuge" and "Causerie anti alcoolique".
