Recorded live on January 29, 1983, at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon, this new edition of Jos Afonso's most historic concert brings together various sound sources to reconstruct the concert in its entirety for the first time, spanning 1 hour and 53 minutes. Analog tapes from unreleased film footage by Lus Filipe Rocha, with sound recording by Carlos Alberto Lopes, were utilized, which mastering engineer Florian Siller mixed with other previously edited recordings. This audio recovery and mastering process took place in December 2023 at Soundgarden Tonstudio, under the supervision of Nuno Saraiva (Mais 5 label) and Jos Afonso's family. This edition offers a fresh opportunity to experience this concert, as if we were present. What better time to do so than now, as we celebrate 50 years of Freedom in Portugal and the anniversary of the Carnation Revolution of 1974!
