The trio Wildes Holz has made a name for itself by finally playing rock and pop music on "real" instruments. And those are, of course, wooden instruments! In particular, the common recorder, which gives this music a very special touch. But what works with rock classics should surely be possible with the "real" classics! So Wildes Holz takes on Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi, Brahms, and Telemann-and plays their music as if they were rock classics. Which, in a way, they are.
