There was no discussion or plan prior to recording, other than to understand that we wanted to create new music out of nothing. We did not improvise over a pre-existing piece of music, we just started to play - making it up as we went along, responding and reacting to each other, having no idea where we were going, or for how long. Each piece finished only when somehow, it appeared to bring itself to a halt. It was simply ... 1-2-3-GO! None of us having any idea what the others were about to play. So these were LIVE recordings. No repairs, no re-takes, and no edits.
