Mountain In The Clouds

This 1972 release is a remixed, expanded version of bassist MiroslavVitou's 1970 debut Infinite Search. Retitled Mountain in the Clouds, it added the bonus track "Céreka" and refined mixes from the original sessions. Spanning early jazz-fusion, the album features Vitou on bass backed by an all star lineup including Herbie Hancock on electric piano. This the album is seen as a seminal document of early fusion's emergence, showcasing Vitou's unconventional bass approach and the creative interplay among future jazz icons.
