Various(blues Roots Of The White Stripes)

Drink And The Devil

When The White Stripes burst on to the music scene back in 2002 it was a shock to the system. Rather than embrace the electro, dance culture of the era, they had opted to go back in time in order to rewrite the future. The White Stripes who consist of Jack White, songwriter, vocals and guitars and Meg White on drums, stripped music back to the bare bones and then launched an awesome brew of punk, garage and blues. Original blues musicians from the first half of the 20th century were obviously the bands greatest influences, here is a collection of the cream of these musicians work
