Nordic Notes Vol. 5 - Folk From Estonia
With this compilation you get a brief insight into the Estonian folk music scene. Some of the artists have been successful for years. Mari Kalkun, Trad.Attack!, Ruut and a few others are no longer unknown. A few are new, but have already gained a lot of experience through other bands. After the Tallinn Music Week it was good to put together a compilation, as previously Folk from Norway and Folk from Finland. It was not possible to include all artists and bands here. These 17 songs provide a very good overview.
