Tytus does have a powerful ring to its name. If you interchange the vowels (with "y" being arbitrary) and replace the "y" with "I", it would be the same name of the Roman Emperor who oversaw the creation of his brainchild, the monolithic Roman Coliseum. However, this is not ancient history but the year 2014. From the ashes of the well regarded Italian punk n roll outfit Gonzales, comes a new project of that the members of the old guard of Gonzales have taken on and that is Tytus and they themselves have potential to be monoliths with their sound. Transitioning from one band that has heavy Hellacopters influence to another band that has Iron Maiden AND Hellacopters influence, seemed like a no brainer for these guys from Trieste!
