Their original arrangement of folk music from eastern Greater Poland is filled with deep respect for the original material, and at the same time expresses their subjective view of tradition. A bold look, full of references to jazz, blues, early music and free improvisation. But Tuleje's third album marks a distinct shift towards urban rawness and a new sonic identity. The greatest change to the musical foundation is the foregrounding of the bass guitar, which almost entirely replaces the double bass from previous albums (appearing here only as subtle, nostalgic accents).
