Hayden Thompson, the legendary Sun Records rockabilly artist from the 1950s, has made a remarkable career which spans eight decades. The best of his recordings of this century are now collected together on one CD. Hayden's versions of four songs from the Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins catalog proudly contest the original ones, while the four songs written by Hayden demonstrates his excellent songwriting skills. The Hayden Thompson fans will be pleased to discover six previously unreleased recordings. Four of them are outtakes from his Bluelight Records and St. George Records recording sessions and two are 1966 live radio broadcast recordings from Grand Ole Opry. On top of this Billy Lee Riley, Hayden's label mate from Sun Records, joins in on the Carl Perkins classic "Gone Gone Gone".
