Supertempo
29
News is not an obsession and the past and not scary: we rely on speed as a metaphor of our frantic, confused, not focused times. In 2011 Supertempo recorded their first EP "Supertime Goes Prestissimo"- thanks to the help of Matt Bordin (Mojomatics) at the Outside Inside Study - followed few months later by "Denim Boy" EP, which included the same-titled song, capturing the attention of many webzines and, above all, of Rockit. In 2012 the band released their very first album "Brother Sun, Sister Moon." with Go Down Records. Raw, naked Pop, saturated by distortiodns and reverberations appearently and deliberately lacking of grace. In this time, Supertime got important awards - the band has been named by Rockit as the best debut band of the year, while the single "To The Sea By Walking" and "Denim Boy" were included in many underground compilations. Now the time for the second album has come, and the title is "29". A brief farewell to the lost youth, on thevway to maturity. The speed is confirmed as the characteristic element for a vivid power pop , played in thevmost direct and raw way, looking for the most immediate and essential forms of songwriting.
