Jim Stranahan, reed player and composer, has created a recording of beautifully arranged original compositions. Stranahan has been a jazz educator for over 30 years and paid his dues for 40 years as a local Denver musician. His horn arrangements are intricate and engaging. Some of Colorado's top musicians were hired for this date including his son Colin as well as renowned trumpeter Peter Olstad.
