Solaris are one of the greatest expressions of guitar oriented indie rock, moving with great awareness in that post-rock, post-metal, post-grunge, post-stoner territory that marks the 'lost' generation of 30-year-olds. A sound that has become increasingly epic, granitic and of great impact over time. The never banal lyrics express all the discomfort that pervades a generation. A disillusioned band, a mirror of the decadent Italian outskirts. The artwork by Matteo Bosi, entitled 'Costellazioni #1', is marked by its textured quality and the use of elements such as painted photography, wood, nails, rope, and bitumen, visually reflecting the tensions and sonic layers of the record.
