Smile Brigade

Do You Come Here Often?

Seattles Smile Brigade borrowed the title from 60s band, The Tornadoes, for their third release, Do You Come Here Often? Their intricate pop song craftsmanship filled with wonder and delight is found throughout. Eleven electric folk ditties drawing on such disparate influences as John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band all the way down the line to the Magnetic Fields and also features K Records own Calvin Johnson (on one song). Added to the mix is a vigorous dash of sixties beat groups, with strong hooks, great guitars and timely lyrics in a modern rock setting
