Selfemployed, The

Treehouse

The second LP of The SelfEmployed is a fact. The release of the album Treehouse is a fitting sequel to the success of the album appeared in 2010 Highway Society. While there was help of MOKEs drummer and singer-songwriter Rob Klerkx during the recording of their first album, The SelfEmployed lived up to its own name with the release of Treehouse. The four musicians, with roots in the North-Holland Waarland, recorded and produced all songs by themselves. It has resulted in a series of beautiful songs in which compelling string arrangements, created by Wouter Hakhoff, support the strong melodies. Of course, the solid guitars riffs and the typical polyphony are again present. To get that full sound during live performances, The SelfEmployed, composed by Jos van Geffen (vocals/guitar), Paul Bos (guitar), Rory van der Graaf (drums) and Daan van der Linden (bass) have introduced a new band member, Nico Crombach (guitar/keys/percussion). Live you will hear and see an intense show with music, which gets under your skin. With dedication and energy, The SelfEmployed knows how to reach their public and hopes to make a small step closer to (inter)national recognition.
