Gary started his professional career as a member of the prestigious Airmen of Note, the official jazz ensemble of the U.S. Air Force. As a featured woodwind solo-tenor saxophonist and assistant leader of the "Note" he toured Europe and the United States performing on numerous recordings and TV shows. Having mastered 13 instruments, Gary spent 12 years as soloist with the Caesars Palace Orchestra in Las Vegas, playing for Frank Sinatra (with whom he did over 1,000 performances), Sammy Davis, Tony Bennett, and Diana Ross, as well as Johnny Mathis, Bing Crosby, Lena Horne, Ann Margaret, Steve Lawrence & Edie Gorme, Paul Anka, and many more
