Isolophilia is the seventh official album of Dutch guitarist Marzio Scholten and the first with his new trio in which he collaborates with modern jazz giants Ernst Glerum (Instant Composers Pool) on bass and ECM recording artist Wolfert Brederode on piano. Isolophilia's intimate sound and meandering pace lures the listener into a magical and melodic world wherein the three musicians intertwine their instruments and tell one beautiful story at a time.
