Sarian, Michael
In This Desert
The sixth album by trumpeter Michael Sarian's quartet with keyboardist Santiago Liebson, bassist Marty Kenney, and drummer Nathan Ellman-Bell is a double CD that combines the electric jazz-rock of early '70s Miles Davis with the trippy grooves of '90s labels like Ninja Tune and Mo'Wax. Previous Sarian albums have appeared on ears&eyes, Shifting Paradigm, and Greenleaf Music
