SANDOKAN & MANICOMIO LATINO, since 2005, is the new project of Sandokan, undisputed leader of Ramiccia. SANDOKAN is also the singer, trombonist and arranger of Banda Bassotti and the singer of the Catalan band La Maquina. He has been the trombonist of Radici nel Cemento and of Fermin Muguruza Dub Manifest's international band (the most important artist of alternative Basque music) too with whom he played around Europe, USA, Latin America, Canada, Japan and China.He had partecipated as special guest on the Japanese tour of Laurel Aitken "The Godfather of Ska" (Jamaica) & Blue Beat Players (Japan). The new album "GHIGNO MALIGNO" ("EVIL GRIN") is the new album of this project. His sound is a perfect groove that goes from Latin Ska Reggae until to arrive to Punk-Rock. This new project includes also two other components of Banda Bassotti: to saxophone Maurizio Gregori, faithful travelin companion since Ramiccia's time, and to trumpet Sandro Travarelli.
