The head cook, Pierre Petit - aka "The Preacherman" - well known as guitarist with the Shaolin Temple Defenders, throws himself fully into his passion for Jamaican music. Inviting similarly enthusiastic musicians to embellish his dish, he adapts the old Rocksteady & early-Reggae recipes to give a flavour of 60's and 70's Jamaica (The Pioneers, Ken Boothe, The Ethiopians, The Heptones, The Wailers.). Together, they prepare a feast of an album preaching love and everyday life. With a drop of Soul, Reggae-flavoured arrangements, and catchy harmonies spiced up by chanted tunes in the spirit of classic Soul trios, The Rockin Preachers return to traditional and authentic reggae.
