"Beautiful Rough" is collection covering the career of legendary Finnish rockabilly vocalist Olli Pihlajamaa using the stage name Rock-Ola. His career has spanned from the late 1970's to today when he's still active within the Nordic rockabilly circuit. As for many others, Rock-Olas first idol was the Rock and Roll King of Kings, Elvis Presley. Its impossible not to detect his influence on Rock-Olas singing, although Ola was wise enough not to fall into copying Elvis which can be heard on also the three new recordings made especially for this 27 track CD.
