Through this album Juan Ramos wants to pay tribute to the emblematic and the mythical music of Argentine Tango. By sharing multiple stories in 12 songs, Juan Ramos voice will take you on a trip to search of love: through a melancholic tango from the 1940s, a mischievous and rhythmic milonga, and the bitterness of a contemporary tango and its unique structure. These stories tell us about the blessings of love, our loneliness and powerlessness in the face of unrequited loves, but also about the hope of meeting the true one. Under the "Compagnie Cambalache" label, the titles forming this album and, even more, the true spirit of Tango, remind us that our stories are inscribed within cross-cultural encounters. To do so, Juan Ramos has surrounded himself with a team of talented musicians: Facundo Torres on bandoneon, arrangements and musical direction. Benjamin Sebban on piano and arrangements.
