PsychÉ
PsychÉ Ii
Nearly three years after their debut, Psyché return with Psyché II, expanding their blend of groove and Mediterranean psychedelia. No longer a mythical backdrop, the Mediterranean becomes a contemporary bridge from Naples to North Africa, the Middle East, and South America. Minimalist and hypnotic, the album fuses cosmic funk, desert blues, cumbia, dub, and jazz, driven by analogue synths and deep basslines. Collaborations with Ziad Trabelsi and Merve Dademir (formerly of Altn Gün) reinforce its international and political scope, shaping a vibrant statement of cross-cultural exchange.
