Losing It

PLASTIC MEAT is a Madrid-based band, formed in 2024, that delivers a frenetic dose of rock 'n' roll-fueled punk. With influences ranging from classic to modern punk, they are a breath of fresh air, maintaining the spirit of '77 seasoned with the energetic sound of bands from the current Australian scene. Their songs are short and direct: razor-sharp guitars with riffs reminiscent of Asheton, but also echoing The Chats or Split System. Bass lines that cut like a knife and merge with the drums as if it were one of Motörhead's early albums. The vocal lines, with a characteristic lo-fi sound, transport you from X-Ray Spex to Amyl and the Sniffers.
