I just love this huge instrument in all its facets and timbres (except when Im travelling). This is why I put some effort into giving the band the right name: Barionda! A clutter or baritone sax sounds, or baritone wave, derived from the Italian word 'baraonda', meaning 'clutter, confusion'. But it is much more than that. HELGA PLANKENSTEINER To quote from a famous Italian movie: ". it can be heavy as iron or light as a feather." Plump and elegant, gruff and delicate, aristocratic and simple, massive and fluttering, it is the ideal instrument to express the many facets of the human soul. I just adore it. ROSSANO EMILI Four baritone saxophones are like pachyderms in the world of instruments, but youll be surprised to find out how light and versatile they can be. The sound variations of this instrument reveal its elegant soul. Two drummers give this elegance something impetuous that goes beyond rock.
