The songs are set in Stornoway, the capital of the Western Isles in the 1960/70s. They are written from the standpoint of a teenager growing up there. They are specific to the town and are about places and people I knew and met. Thats why I thought it a good idea to include a Glossary in the lyric booklet. As well as the lyrics the booklet also includes a short paragraph about each song to set the background.
