Parasol, Rykarda
Tuesday Morning
From San Francisco to Paris and back again, Parasol's fifth album, "Tuesday Morning", captures the dark shadowy chic of Warholian mid-60s with a hint of French pop. Parasol's uniquely dynamic voice and lyricism remain ever present while her sound continue to evolve. Featuring a sparkling cover of Zouzou's "Ne Cherche Pas", "Tuesday Morning" was produced by Parasol and recorded primarily in San Francisco with her long-time engineer/bassist, Mark Pistel (Consolidated/Meat Beat Manifesto) as well as with added recording and production in Paris, France with Marc Ottavi. "Tuesday Morning" also features keyboardist Marc Capelle (American Music Club) throughout. Parasol's last two albums were both released on Warner, Poland, as well as several smaller labels within Europe. From 2013-1019, Parasol was primarily based in Paris, yet had formed a live band in Warsaw whom she toured throughout Europe including the Heineken Open'er Festival and Vienna Waves. Limited edition pink lacquer with art design by Parasol herself.
