On The Floor

Made Of Scars

The gothic- and darkwave - culture is known for being consistent. Bands of the dark-scene exist for decades. This also applies to On The Floor. Hailing from Hamburg/Germany On The Floor is well known to the scene. Already in 1999 singer Helge Jungmann, guitarist Henning Thurow, bassist Dennis Lindner and his brother - guitarist and songwriter - Andr Lindner released a first EP (sold out fast), followed by gigs with Catastrophe Ballet, Girls Under Glass and Zeraphine. Their debut full-length ,Under a Heart-Shaped Sun" saw the light of day in 2003. The clubhit ,Killing Queen" quickly became a floorfiller and further helped to establish the act in the scene, which resulted in opening slots for Clan of Xymox or Phillip Boa & the Voodooclub and a celebrated live appearance at WGT-festival Leipzig. From Hamburg with love and... Made of Scars is the opening act of the bands second era, with an album full of emotions, hope and based on years of experience.
