On Fire is a hardcore-band based in the south of The Netherlands, known for their energetic and enthusiastic stage performances! They have already played over 300 shows all over the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Slovenia, Austria, Italy and the Czech Republic. On Fire is capable of turning the place they perform into a frenzy. They've got no attitude and 'play your ass off' seems to be their motto. On Fire's music can be described as powerful old school- hardcore to which they give their own rocking twist. With their two guitar players and their double vocals they truly create a sound of their own. A sound in which hardcore plays the key role, and punkrock- and heavy metal- influences are present to give it a more melodic touch. Masquerades is On Fire's second full length record after their 2006 release "Truckstop Armageddon". Masquerades continues were Truckstop Armageddon stopped. But then with 2 years more time to develop their own sound and technical skills.
