This project is led by saxophonist Robin Nicaise and guitarist Alain Soler. It's a captivating album, the fruit of two passionate and creative artists' work based on the repertoire of one of the greatest pianists in the history of jazz : Bill Evans. This album celebrates a true and long-standing bond between the two musicians, who have known each other for over thirty years. Longtime partners Alain Soler (g) and Robin Nicaise (ts) have brought to life a delicate project in which the guitar and saxophone blend perfectly and respond to each other in an extremely fluid manner. Here, the art of the duo is a privileged medium for a repertoire that is as demanding as it is delightful.
