Nagloed
Everything Is In Everything Else
Nagled is back, and how! Almost seven years after their first album, NowHere (September 2019), 'Everything Is In Everything Else' is now available, a varied album with less electronics, a more acoustic sound and more room for improvisation. In ten rock-solid tracks, Dillian Fevry (on electric guitar and vocals), Andreas Lagrou (on drums) and Matthias Dewilde (on keys) take the listener to the core of human existence: a philosophical journey between life and death, between joy and loss, in which we slowly realise over the years how everything is connected. After their first album in 2019, on which the trio collaborated with Arve Henriksen, the group continued to make music and perform, which brought them to venues such as AB and the renowned Gent Jazz festival. Dozens of songs were in the meantime written, performed live, recorded as demos and then forgotten. Over the years, music became a way to honour life, in all its beauty and ugliness. This is also reflected in this new album (mixed by Koen Gisen), which hovers between jazz and indie, between improvisation and song, without denying the group's cinematic, dreamy DNA.
