Sirocco
The Sirocco is a warm wind that comes from the South. It begins in the desert and travels across continents, seas, and even our bodies. It carries a fine dust that makes the air heavy, blurring both sight and sound. For me, it is a picture of our time: a moment of friction, movement, and uncertainty. A space where our points of reference fade, yet where something still tries to break through.I want to create a way of listening within this haze, to stay in it for a moment. To slow down, to question, to be silent. My hope is that this album encourages us to pay attention to what does not shout: what rustles, what disappears, what resists quietly at the edges. To find again in art a space that speaks to us and allows us to exist more fully. If these pieces of music can, even for a moment, become such a shelter, such a place of watchfulness, that in itself would be immense for me.
