Grounding Music
Grounding Music arises from the intersection of composition, improvided music and the psychotherapeutic practice of grounding. A sonic act that recalls attention to the present moment, re-establishing a steadfast connection with the body, the breath and the earth. Within this trio framework, music does not negate distress, but rather traveses it offering a sanctuary of listening, containment and stability.
