I grew up with a Walkman which had a tango, one that was modern already, Eighties pop and the conflict of Astor Piazzolla's tango nuevo, a notion which would be hackneyed from then on_ I discovered Adrian's compositions and playing, whose jazz-rock elements mingled inside our traditions without any complexes at all. "Tra(d)i - cional", or `tradition betrayed', that was the provocative pun we chose to provide a definition for this album.
