The Kiss
Peter Matern is a very well-known saxophonist in the German jazz scene. While Materna has recorded and performed as a saxophonist over the past thirty years (twenty of which in the quartet he leads with an unchanged line-up), this album is something different and very special. "The Kiss" was written during the Corona pandemic, featuring a new trio featuring bassist Lisa Wulff and drummer Silvan Strauss.
