Having pushed the Gypsy swing style to its limits in his earlier published work `Urban Gypsy' the artist now brings together all his experience and explores other styles in music. The precision of the English bow has been known for centuries yet DJM is arguably the first to introduce us to such eclecticism: The artist takes inspiration from 1960's pop music, the jazz poetry of A Baraka, the P-Funk of Funkadelic and the bluesy chants of a Blue Note standard. DJM has an undeniable talent for writing and composing, combined with a voluptuous lightness brought by his renowned violin and a surprising sweet and sour, "typically British" voice.
