Hummingbird

Armand Margjeka was born in Albania and raised on American music. The communist regime he grew up in might have been oppressive but somehow a mix tape of American rock'n'roll found its way into his hands. Now the Birmingham, Alabama musician/producer thrives on a fascination with the process of making great records. Conceived as An Exhibition of 10 Works, Hummingbird represents a series of creative recording sessions with a diverse and talented core of musicians. It's Margjeka's production aesthetic complemented by three-time Grammy award winner Darrell Thorp (Radiohead, Beck), Chris Steffen (Stereophonics, Ben Harper) and Eric Masse (Escondido, Rayland Baxter). This LP package contains a digital download card.
