March Mallow
The Silence
For this new project, March Mallow is taking things a step further by incorporating music written and composed by the quartet, including two in French, into the repertoire of the new album. What makes this proposal so special are the new original compositions, which have the same energy and style as the standards that the group has been playing for several years now. In the midst of a series of creative residencies for its new album, March Mallow decided to let itself be carried away by other colours of sound. The quartet called on other musicians to explore their new ideas. They invited Jean-Pierre Derouard (Claude Bolling, China Moses, etc.) on trumpet and snare drum, Alexandre Berton (Tue-Loup, Dick Annegarn) on drums, Cdric Thimon (Paul Rogers, Zphirologie) on saxophone and the Yule string quartet.
