Man Overboard
Passing Ends
Every now and then a band comes along and speaks to the hearts of kids everywhere, as the true voice of their generation: MAN OVERBOARD is that band in the pop-punk community. In an age when overnight internet sensations are an everyday occurrence, its hard to find a band thats grown organically, the old fashioned way, via word of mouth and non-stop touring, winning kids over one show at a time. MAN OVERBOARD has been busy touring the world for the past five years, having shared the stage with the likes of TAKING BACKING SUNDAY, ALL TIME LOW, NEW FOUND GLORY, and THE WONDER YEARS, along with two complete runs on the Vans Warped Tour in 2012 and 2013. While the band has three LPs and two full-length collection albums under their belt already, the Passing Ends EP acts as a bridge between their latest LP, Heart Attack and their next LP which will be out in 2015 via Rise Records. For Passing Ends, the band returned to their own Small Hill Studio, the site where Love Your Friends Die Laughing, their split with TRANSIT as well as the Noise From Upstairs EP were recorded. To finish things off, they enlisted Will Yip (TITLE FIGHT, CIRCA SURVIVE, CITIZEN) to mix and master the album. The EP is a return to the simple beginnings of MAN OVERBOARD, hours spent in their studio crafting honest songs that are relevant to the lives of their fans. It is an effort from the ground up that showcases the bands DIY mentality and passion to do something different.
