After a trio album with Sylvain Luc and Stephane Belmondo, acclaimed by critics, Thierry Maillard returns here to a project in great formation, with an essentially female ensemble, on the borders of jazz and classical, gathering around the trio piano-double bass- drums six jazz musicians and the vocal septet Les Vagabondes. Normandy is still present in this formation, with the Caen flautist Christelle Raquillet who already participated in the previous project, "Zappa Forever", but also within the Vagabondes, Gladys Roupsard (originally from Coutances) and Clmence Maucourant having both passed through the Caen Conservatory. The pianist offers here an abundant writing that crosses centuries, genres and styles, mixing everything with a confusing naturalness.
