Frontman Lil A (aka Alex Woodson, Vocals & Harp) and his band come up with a live in the Studio CD of authentic, undiluted Southern California blues. Convincing Vocals, strong Harp, great guitars and a tactile rhythm section drive through 10 blues classics. Recorded in 2010 it sees its official release only now; a lost masterpiece no more. Lil A says: William Clarke was a big influence. Also Rick Estrin, Junior Wells, James Cotton, even Chester Burnett. He was a simple player but cool. I try to take a little bit from all of them and blend it.
