This is the 4th opus from LeGraux Tobrogoï, the turbulent and creative Toulouse-based jazz sextet of the past 20 years. These 8 new compositions by Jore, Poirier, Picault and Renoux, arranged collectively, illustrate an affirmation of their singularity in producing a very open "Mingussian" jazz that nevertheless does not deny its filiation with 70's rock.Fallen superheroes, funereal fanfare, ovine ambience, hard bop deserts, vegetal grooves, dubious anagrams, 7-beat waltzes, rock peplums... welcome to the BarbarismeS era!
