On Oniromancy, Laurence-Anne explores the nocturnal world in all its forms, moving from soft dreams to paralyzing nightmares with ease. Produced alongside Franois Zaïdan, the work pushes further the codes that had been established on its previous releases, proving to be more dense and obscure, while remaining faithful to this tendency to establish a conceptual and enveloping universe. Taking the form of a dream/art/synthpop alloy overflowing with coldwave and experimental influences, the album crosses eleven distinct landscapes. The result is dreamlike and intimate music on which the singer-songwriter reveals herself more than ever, while deepening the mystery that surrounds her. Drawing from the depths of the subconscious of its creator, Oniromancy manages to captivate by revealing a universe that only exists for those who listen.
