The new studio album by American jazz singer MESCHIYA LAKE feat. THE NEW MOVEMENT. Traditional (New Orleans) jazz meets western swing and rocksteady, "Lookin The World Over" will be released on CD and in vinyl format on the Berlin label SUNGOOVE RECORDS. The singer MESCHIYA LAKE, who comes from South Dakota and has lived in New Orleans for many years, started her professional career as a musician in 2007 as a member of the jazz and dance formation THE LOOSE MARBLES, before founding her own formation with LITTLE BIG HORNS JAZZ BAND a short time later.
